Watsonville Taiko offers classes and workshops for children, adults and seniors. Please scroll down to find the right opportunity for you.

Please note, masks are optional in the dojo, but strongly recommended.
Introduction to Taiko classes for adults or children (8 and up) start every 2 months, usually on the first Friday or Saturday of the month. Contact info@watsonvilletaiko.org for more information.
Beginner Taiko classes for adults start every 2 months, usually on the first Friday or Saturday of the month. You must have taken Intro to Taiko before enrolling in this class.
Classes are held at Kizuka Hall, 150 Blackburn Street Watsonville. Class size is limited; reserve your spot early. To reserve your spot, email us at info@watsonvilletaiko.org

BEGINNER TAIKO (adults)
Must take Intro to Taiko before Beginner Taiko
Fridays 11:15 am - 12:15 pm
Fridays 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Children's classes (age 8 and up)
Fridays 4:30-5:30pm: ages 8 to 10 yrs
Fridays 5:30-6:30: ages 11 and up

Time: 1:30 - 4:00 pm
Note: this class is NOT for anyone with physical issues/limitations due to its strenuous physical demands.
FEES
Please note: There are no refunds for cancelled, missed or dropped classes.
Class fees are due on the first day of the new session.
Adult & Children Classes
All new students: $35 Registration fee + $15 Bachi (drumsticks) fee
INTRODUCTION AND BEGINNING ADULT CLASSES
$130 per 2 month session
CHILDREN'S CLASSES $100 per 2 month session for children 15 & under
$120 per 8 week session for teens 16 & over
Odaiko Class
All new students: $35 Registration fee + All students will need to have their own Odaiko bachi which can be purchased for $20
BEGINNING ODAIKO CLASSES
$200, includes study video
